Harndec successfully completed the floor coverings on two new Highland Primary Schools, Inshes Primary School, the first new primary school to be built for a new generation in the Inshes and Milton of Leys communities, and Gaelic Primary School, the first purpose built Gaelic Medium Primary School.
Inshes Primary School spanning a total of 3045m², the £6.6 million development consisted of 15 classrooms, 2 nursery rooms, additional support facilities, meeting room, foyer and reception area and has the capabilities to provide for 300 primary pupils and 120 nursery children, freeing up much needed space in other nearby primary schools and helping meet the demand expected from a rapidly growing local community.
The new £4 million Gaelic Primary School development, in the Slackbuie area, has the facilities to cater for 150 primary pupils along with nursery and playgroup classes within a facility of 1500m².
