The Mid-Argyll Community Hospital and Integrated Care Centre was built as a PFI project with the view to reunite Lochgilphead’s several medical and social services under one single roof. The philosophy behind the project was to provide a contemporary and modern facility that will offer good quality of healthcare services in this rural area for over at least the coming 30 years.
Harndec Flooring, with the highest quality in flooring specifications and workmanship expertise, installed 6,000m² of Forbo Nairn Lino and Vinyl and Gradus Carpeting over a 4 month on-site period. Due to a fast track construction of surface, the application of a Damp Proof Membrane (DPM) was required.
Harndec’s installation of the flooring added to the overall architect’s goal of providing a relaxed, safe, long-lasting yet stylish atmosphere for a community Hospital
